The setup of ThivanLabs & Mavis system in NDHT 2025
The ThivanLabs & Mavis system created a large soundstage, dynamics and details of the sound in a 18 square meter room in Le Meridien Hotel, Hamburg!
A special setup with the latest models from Thivanlabs, MAVIS and AmorA Acoustics were demonstrated at Norddeutsche HiFi-Tage 2025, Hamburg.

The M90 really played an important role in the impressive sound performance of the Mavis and ThivanLabs audio system at the North German HiFi-Days 2025 in Hamburg, Germany in early February 2025. With the harmonious combination of voltage amplified by tube and strong current amplified by solid state, the M90 has both the extremely emotional and musical sound quality of tube sound and the superior power. Thanks to this advantages, the M90 really helped the ThivanLabs Eros 7 to optimally demonstrate the sound reproduction ability of the speaker, supporting ThivanLabs TMS 9 Premium (300B tube preamplifier MM/MC phono – tube music server – headphone amp) – the heart of the system – to transfer the detail and sophistication of the sound best.
In a 18 square meter room at North German HiFi-Days 2025 in Le Meridien Hotel Hamburg, the Mavis & ThivanLabs system performed a variety of music pieces from lyrical music to high dynamic music tracks such as strong and fast symphony and rock with an extremely open sound stage, extremely fast and precise sound response, a “live-like”, very detailed, delicate and wonderfully emotional sound.

” Well, this was the highlight of the NDHT 2025, the Thivan Labs Eros 7 floor-standing speakers for 5,200 euros. Well, it wasn’t exactly erotic, the way this system started up, I’ve rarely heard something so fast as an arrow, it crashed and shot through the place, it was a real joy. And on top of that, very natural and real. That might also have been due to the MAVIS M90 amplifier for 6,800 euros.

Also erotisch war das jetzt nicht unbedingt, so wie diese Anlage hier loslegte, so etwas Pfeilschnelles habe ich selten gehört, das krachte und schoss durch die Gegend, dass es eine wahre Freude war. Und obendrein noch sehr natürlich und echt. Das dürfte wohl auch mit an dem MAVIS M90 Verstärker für 6.800 Euro gelegen haben. ”
